Five nights for the lakes above 4,000 metres: Miscanti, the red rocks of Piedras Rojas and the long road to the Salar de Tara.
For guests who have seen the valley and want the high country. The lakes sit on the altiplano between 4,000 and 4,300 metres, so the first two days stay low on purpose. The long day to the Salar de Tara is the reward: wind, vicuñas and rock towers, with nobody else on the road.
